Denominational Mission Partners

First Baptist Cornelia partners with multiple Baptist denominational organizations locally and around the world to advance God’s Kingdom together.  These denominational mission partners join churches from around the world together to carry out the Great Commandment (Matthew 22:34-39) and the Great Commission (Matthew 28: 1920).  This is the remnant of what Baptists once called the Cooperative Program.

Cornelia Association of Churches
At least twice a year the churches in Cornelia come together for worship “in the bond of love.”  Each Easter Sunday, the churches sponsor a Sunrise Service on at the Fire Tower on Chenocetah Mountain above Cornelia.  Churches rotate to provide a preacher for the service and a breakfast afterwards.  Each Thanksgiving these churches come together again for a time of community thanksgiving.  Everyone is always welcomed to join us.
