CHILDREN’S Ministries
Children are a very important part of FBC Cornelia. Our children’s ministry serves children from birththrough 5th grade. Our WILD KINGDOM Children’s Ministry believes in creating opportunities to develop Wild Faith in the Hearts of Kingdom Kids.
Developing faith is something we can’t do alone -we want to join together with families! We believein partnering with families to create authenticfaith; it’s an idea called Orange. When you takeTHE LIGHT OF THE CHURCH (yellow) andcombine it with THE LOVE OF A FAMILY (red)you increase the potential to influence a child’s life!
- The ministry goals that we seek to fulfill are:
- Create a safe, welcoming environment with strong leaders and quality experiences.
- Partner with families to create the greatest opportunity for the spiritual development of children.
- Ensure that each child in the ministry understands core Christian values essential for laying a firm foundation of faith.
Preschoolers (birth – Kindergarten) should understand three basic truths:
Elementary aged children should understand three basic, but powerful truths modeled by Jesus in Luke 2:52.
The Wild Kingdom Area of FBC Cornelia is located on the first floor of the Family Ministry Center, adjacent to the Gymnasium. When you enter the Larkin Street entrance (across from City Hall), our volunteers will greet you, help you register your child, and get them to the correct classroom. To make check-in fast and easy you can create a KidCheck profile before coming on Sunday.

Sunday Mornings
Sunday School 10:00 am – 10:45 am
Worship 10:50 am – 12:00 pm
All elementary children participate in the worship service, while our toddlers and preschoolers worship together downstairs in the Wild Kingdom area. Midway through the worship service,
our younger elementary aged children (First – Third Grades) are invited to leave the worship service for a small group worship time in the 252 room.
First Sunday Family Breakfast
On the First Sunday of each month we have a special family breakfast in the banquet room. On first Sundays children of all ages attend the worship service for part of the time, giving our intergenerational congregation a chance to worship together.
Join us anytime between 10:00 am- 10:20 am.
Wednesday Nights 5:30 – 7:00 PM
We will begin in the Fellowship Hall with 2D Worship at 5:30 PM. Make reservations for dinner or brown bag it, enjoying fellowship around the table with the FBC Family, a devotion from Pastor Nathan, praise & worship music. Then, we will head to the children’s area for Mosaic & Missions fun ending at 7:00 PM.
