Women’s Enrichment Ministry
Women’s Enrichment Ministry is designed for women of all ages and offers Bible studies specifically designed for women at various times throughout the year with sessions at 9:00 a.m. on Thursdays and 5:30 p.m. on Sundays.
WEM also sponsors events such as the Winter Spa Night, women’s tea, book club and opportunities to attend women conferences. For an up-to-date listing of WEM events check “What’s Happening Now” and our events Calendar.
Adult Re-Connect Classes
Adult Re-Connect Classes are offered on Wednesday nights at 6:15 p.m. and the subjects and speakers change quarterly. Some of the subject areas which have been offered are watercolor painting, sign language, studies on books of the Bible and photography. These classes are held during the time the children and youth are in Mosaic Classes which makes it a great time for parents to enjoy learning something new while their children are happily occupied and learning as well. Check “Ongoing Classes” for the next scheduled Re-Connect Classes. Come early and enjoy our Wednesday night fellowship supper before the classes.
Men’s Brotherhood meets at 8:00 a.m. on the first Sunday of the month in the fellowship hall. A delicious homemade breakfast cooked by our FBC men is followed by a guest speaker. The topics and speakers range from people in the sports world to missionaries to elected officials. Check Happening Now and the events calendar for the next scheduled speaker and make plans to join us at our next brotherhood meeting.
Tuesday Crew is a group of “mostly retired” men in our church who meet at 8:30 a.m. each Tuesday to enjoy the companionship of each other while performing maintenance and other odd jobs around the church facility. This group encompasses men of various ages, interests, talents and gifts who serve behind the scenes and contribute their expertise to keep the facility and grounds well-maintained.
Women’s Missionary Union/Women on Mission
Woman’s Missionary Union (WMU) is the Mission Awareness/Education for all ages in the church. These include Mission Friends for preschoolers, Girls in Action for elementary girls and Royal Ambassadors for boys.
Women on Mission consists of several groups and Round Table, designed to reach all ages in the church and community.
The WMU joins the Missions Committee in supporting Denominational and Global Mission Partners, the Unified Mission Offering, First Baptist and Community Missions.
